Register Online for SCFA Classes
Firefighters may
apply to register for OPEN ENROLLMENT courses online.
Only the courses listed in the dropdown
menu item below are eligible for Online Registration.
The menu changes frequently so check back often.
Registration Requirements:

You must be a
Suffolk County Firefighter in good standing

You must have
completed the necessary prerequisite courses

All information
submitted on this form will be verified and your IP number
will be logged.
Non-Suffolk County Resident Requirements:

You must
be a member in good standing of a Fire Department in New
York State

You must
have completed the necessary prerequisite courses and submit
proof of completion by mail to the Suffolk County Fire
Academy, P.O. Box 128, Yaphank, New York 11980

Registration fee of $50.00 must be submitted payable to:
Vocational Education and Extension Board of the County of
Suffolk, P.O. Box 128, Yaphank, New York 11980
Due to a limited
number of seats available for a particular course, there is
no guarantee that you will be approved for the class you
select. You will be notified by mail upon receipt of your
Open Enrollment Course Registration form and check payable
to the Suffolk County Fire Academy.
Open Enrollment
Course Registration forms, along with a check
for $25.00 per course, must be submitted
in addition
to
the online registration form. Online
Registration is only available for the courses listed on our
form below.
