THE SUFFOLK COUNTY FIRE ACADEMY is currently seeking full-time Maintenance
Mechanics to join our team.
Job duties include, but not limited to, vendor contact, troubleshooting and repairs
on our live training gas equipment: both propane and natural gas, general
maintenance of vehicles and pumps, fabrication, maintenance and building of
various wooden props, staging of field areas for training purposes. Must be able to
work independently.
