The NYS Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services (DHSES) is excited to announce its
first regional delivery of the UAS Operator Course, this October in Suffolk County.
The UAS Operator Course is a combined ground and flight school designed to prepare students to
safely and effectively manage and conduct UAS operations. The instructional team will work with
students to connect statewide and national policies and best practices and apply this knowledge to
a variety of mission areas. This course includes classroom, skill, and scenario-based activities.
